Cath Ryan appointed Head of Sales and Strategic Partnerships

BNK and Better Choice Home Loans is pleased to announce the appointment of Cath Ryan as its new Head of Sales and Strategic Partnerships. This key leadership role reinforces our commitment to the broker channel by driving deeper engagement and delivering enhanced support. Cath’s focus on building strong partnerships and expanding distribution networks will enable Better Choice to broaden its reach and accelerate growth across the third-party lending market. 

Ms Ryan brings more than 25 years’ experience across commercial banking, specialist lending, aggregation and broker distribution, with a deep understanding of how brokers build and scale high-performing businesses across residential, commercial, SMSF and cashflow lending. 

Cath joins the BNK Group from Viking Aggregation, where she was General Manager, Commercial. Prior to that, she spent more than five years at Thinktank Commercial Property Finance as Regional Sales Executive for NSW, where she led a rapidly expanding sales team and helped more than triple settlement volumes across commercial, SMSF and specialised lending. 

In her new role, Ms Ryan will lead Better Choice’s national sales strategy across broker and partner channels, working closely with aggregators, brokers and strategic partners to support growth in self-employed, residential and commercial lending. 

BNK CEO Allan Savins said Ms Ryan’s appointment reflects the Group’s commitment to strengthening broker relationships and delivering tailored solutions for more complex lending scenarios.
