Manish brings more than 25 years’ experience in risk management across major Australian and international financial institutions. Most recently, he has worked with Newcastle Greater Mutual Group and Bank Australia, helping both organisations develop and strengthen their risk management frameworks. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at Westpac across a number of senior risk roles, most recently as Head of Consumer Finance Risk and Portfolio Insight, where he led the rollout of the Three Lines of Defence model and worked closely with ASIC, APRA and AFCA on credit and responsible lending matters.

Manish’s earlier career included senior risk roles at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Fannie Mae and Genworth Financial, and began at GE Capital, where he trained as a Risk Management leader and Six Sigma specialist.

In his role as CRO, Manish leads BNK’s risk function across the Group, overseeing credit, financial and non-financial risk, and regulatory engagement as BNK continues to grow across its three brands.
