Joe Mittiga appointed as Chief Operating Officer

BNK Banking Corporation (ASX:BBC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Mittiga as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.

Joe brings more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector, having held senior roles in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Austria. His career spans key positions at ING Bank, FleetPartners, Aviva Insurance, and Athena Home Loans, where he has led high-performing teams across mortgage and deposit operations, customer experience, vendor management, and first line risk management.

He has a strong track record in driving large-scale transformation initiatives and championing continuous improvement across diverse financial environments.

In his new role as COO, Joe will be responsible for strengthening BNK’s operational capabilities, delivering seamless customer experiences, and enabling scalable, sustainable growth through technology and process innovation.
